Bajofondo

Founded in 2002, this eight-person collective unites producers and programmes from Argentina and Uruguay. Its goal is to bring together the rich strands of music from the Rio de la Plata and create modern expressions and identities. The band’s debut album Bajofondo Tango Club went triple-platinum, selling over 300,000 copies worldwide. The two follow-up releases have also met with critical and commercial success.
